You've got to have 'Faith'!
Every once in awhile we get a dog in our program that really tugs at our heart strings and requires a heightened level of attention, care and love. Faith came into our programme in November 2014 after being found tied to a tree in a city park in freezing temperatures. Faith, or Faithy as she is affectionately known was exceptionally malnourished, covered in demodex (a form of mange) and had cigarette burns on her head and bruises all over her body. Faith was in rough shape but her spirits were high.
This girl is SO sweet and despite all that she has been through still wants to trust people. Faith has been thriving in foster care and has lots of friends out there willing her on to a full recovery. She loves playing outside, enjoys cuddles with all her fans and is beginning to interact well with other dogs. Faith is looking for a family who will be patient, loving and will shower her with all of the creature comforts that she had been deprived of. Faith needs a home with children 14+ and would love a doggie friend to play with. Her new owners will be required to attend positive reinforcement training classes to help build her confidence and trust. We have no doubt that this remarkable dog will be a fantastic addition to the right family. Faith is an American Bulldog and we estimate her age to be around 4.
